4th Annual 5K Walk/Run to benefit Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue
Hop into spring! Join Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue and Education Center for the fourth annual 5K Bun Run. We will have an in-person organized event in Salisbury, MD and a virtual option that you can do anywhere. Either way, you can choose your own pace – walk or run! Our in-person event will start at 10am on March 30 at Salisbury’s City Park. Funds raised will go toward veterinary expenses and other operational expenses. Festivities as well as the route start and end points will be in the area of the Rotary Pavillion, walking distance from Downtown Salisbury. Our 5K route will take participants through wooded areas, along water, and past the Salisbury Zoo, skatepark, and dog park. Bun Run is a family-friendly event including a free Easter Egg Hunt near the Pavilion for the younger kids. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates! Registration fee $30 per person / price increase to $35 from March 1 / $40 on March 30
Each Bun Run registrant (virtual and in person) will receive a canvas tote bag as shown above.
Virtual Bun Run Participants – post your results by April 30 to enter a prize drawing for a $100 Amazon Gift Card!
This year, our official Bun Run t-shirt is an optional purchase. If you register before March 1, the t-shirt can be added to your registration for $10. If you register between March 1-15, the price of the t-shirt will be $12. For registrations after March 15 including the day of the event, the price of the t-shirt is $15 and will depend on size availability. T-shirts will be distributed to in-person registrants at Salisbury Park upon check-in. T-shirts for virtual registrants will be shipped between March 31- April 5. You can pre-order a t-shirt without registering for Bun Run for $15 (plus $5 shipping if applicable).
Medals for Top Bun Runners in 4 categories for the in-person 5K: Adult Male, Adult Female, Youth Male, and Youth Female (NOTE: youth category is for anyone age 18 years and under on the day of the Bun Run)
In addition, each category winner will receive a free race entry and spectator pass for Savage Race. This year the Savage Race & Savage Blitz Maryland Spring 2024 will be held May 4 and Savage Race & Savage Blitz Maryland Fall 2024 on September 7, both in Kennedyville, MD.
